
We reserve the right to remove any guest at any time for not obeying our rules, regulations and other acts and behaviors not deemed appropriate as determined by staff members without refund.
Any person who becomes an overnight or seasonal Camper or Visitor will be assumed to have read and understand these rules and regulations and are expected to communicate these rules and regulations to their children, guests, and/or invitees and are responsible for all actions of all members of their party.

1. Safety should be everyone’s top priority. Each person is responsible for using judgment and caution to protect themselves and others. LACK OF COMMON SENSE IS NOT AN EXCUSE.
2. SPEED LIMIT IS 5MPH to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember there are children playing and may be darting in and out among campers along with people walking. Help keep everyone safe by keeping your eyes out for others.
3. All children should be off the playground and back to their campsites by 11pm. Children under the age of 10 should always be supervised by an adult.
4. Fireworks, Sparklers, Firearms and weapons of all kinds are prohibited.
5. Drunken or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. No one under the age of 21 may consume alcohol on campground property. Consuming alcohol in common areas of the campground is prohibited.
6. Any person (Adult or Child) found stealing, damaging property, or engaging in illegal activity will be evicted. Parents may be prosecuted for damages.
7. Bicycles must be ridden safely. ALL BIKES MUST HAVE LIGHTS AFTER DUSK! THIS IS FOR YOUR CHILDS SAFETY!
8. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult in the pool. Toddlers must use swim diapers. Anyone who violates the pool hours will be evicted.
9. Campfires must be contained to a fire ring and may not be left unattended. No Burning of Leaves, Trash, or anything that is not firewood.

2.Quiet hours are from 11pm-8am. For the enjoyment of others please respect our quiet hours and keep noise to a minimum. Children must remain at a campsite during quiet hours unless accompanied by an adult.
3.Parents/Responsible Adult(s) are accountable for their children’s behavior.
4.Do not walk through or park vehicles on another camper’s site or empty campsite without permission.

4. If your campsite is observed with a non-registered overnight visitor, your account will be charged the nightly overnight guest fee

EMERGENCIES: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY DIAL 911. Contact the Office as soon as possible by calling (609)624-0767. The campground location that you must give to Emergency Dispatchers is
2241 Route 9, Ocean View NJ 08230.
In the case of severe weather, there is not a storm shelter located onsite. It is the Camper(s) responsibility to monitor the weather. In the event of a Thunder/Lightning Storm the pool will be closed. If we are forecasted with a hurricane of any category the Campground will be closed for the duration of the storm and reopened when deemed safe. No refunds or credits will be given for storm related closures.
1. Seasonal sites include 2 Adults and immediate children or grandchildren under the age of 18.
2. Campers will dispose of all trash in dumpster located in the front of the campground. No bringing outside garbage into the campground. The dumpster is limited to waste created at Tamerlane Campground. Trash other than household garbage is not permitted in dumpster. If you have bulk items that need to be discarded, please see office for instructions.
3. Minor children (under the age of 18) are prohibited from occupying said campsite without their parent or legal guardian present. Minor children shall be restricted to campsite at 11:00 p.m. and prohibited from being off campsite after that time without any occupying adult. Under age children should not be left unsupervised on the property. Parent or legal guardians are responsible for the whereabouts, actions and safety of their children
4. Please keep your site clean of trash and litter.
5. Campers agree to keep their RVs in good condition and maintain a pleasant appearance. RVs that are not in a state of good repair or are visibly dilapidated will not be permitted to remain on in the campground.
6. Campers shall stay off of other RV sites. Exceptions can be made if there is a mutual agreement. In the event of conflict or if one camper changes their mind, this rule will always prevail.
7. Campers may not alter campsites or Campground facilities in any way without specific permission from Campground Staff.
8. Campers are responsible for managing their use of electricity to avoid overloading the power supply.
9. Smoking is not permitted in bath houses, cabins, pool area, or playground.
10. NJ State Law requires children under the age of 14 to wear a helmet while riding bicycles. No scooters or skateboards allowed after dark. Bicycles must be well lit if riding after dark.
11. No battery operated “Power Wheels” allowed.
12. No washing of vehicles permitted without permission.
13. Outside contractors/repairmen are permitted during normal business hours between April 11th- October 12th and must be insured. Off season repairs are not permitted unless previous arrangements have been made with the office.
14. Cutting trees are not permitted. If you have a questionable tree, notify the office.
15. You must contact the office for before building a deck/manufactured room. Only elevated decks, ground decks, and prefabricated rooms are permitted. No stick built “Florida Rooms” are permitted. Decks may not be any wider than 10 foot and any longer than the length of your camping unit
16. PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. Children are not to be left unattended while walking dogs and you must clean up after your dog. You must be able to control your dog on and off your campsite. Dogs that bark continuously while left alone will not be permitted to stay on property.
17. Sub-leasing your camping unit is prohibited. If you choose to allow visitors to stay at your campsite when you are not present, the visitors will be charged the campgrounds regular nightly fee($65 per night).
18. Any Seasonal who wishes to sell their camper on site must have permission from the campground. All fees and balances must be paid in full before placing camping unit for sale.
19. Gate Cards or for the use of Seasonals and registered guests. Please have visitors stop in the office or make prior arrangements.
20. Fences, or other barriers are not permitted on campsites.
21. Fire Rings & Picnic Tables: These are not furnished by the campground.
22. Propane tanks connected to campers/park models that are over 30lbs must be contracted and maintained by approved propane companies (Amerigas, Suburban, Steeland). NO PERSONALLY OWNED 100lb PROPANE TANKS ALLOWED.
23. Blocking off streets is against fire code and is prohibited unless authorization has been given by the office.
24. NO DIGGING ON CAMPSITES.
25. You may use stone on your campsite. See office for stone delivery information.
Tamerlane Campground and staff are not responsible for replacing stone if underground utility work must be done.
26. Electric Vehicle charging is not permitted in the campground. See office for local charging stations.
27. Portable/personal pools and hot tubs are not permitted.
28. Tamerlane Campground requires Liability Insurance for all campers/park models on property.
Deck/Screen Room/Florida Room Rules
As of April 2024, stick built enclosed rooms (Florida Rooms) are no longer permitted to be constructed. We do permit ground decks, elevated decks, and manufactured aluminum enclosures/sun rooms. Below is a list of regulations.
Ground Decks-
Ground decks may not be any longer than the length of your camping unit, and no wider than 10 feet.
May not be dug into the ground.
Elevated Decks-
Elevated decks may not be any longer than the length of your camping unit, and no wider than 10 feet.
Elevated decks must have a hand rail for stairs, and railing around the perimeter.
May not have posts dug into the ground.
Florida Rooms/Sun Rooms/ Screen Rooms-
Must be an aluminum manufactured room, such as “Dura Bilt”.
May be assembled on ground our elevated decks with the same rules as stated above.
For enclosed rooms, any electric added must be added through camping unit, and not on a separate line from campsites electric box. If an air conditioner is being installed, the air conditioner must utilize the electric directly from the camping unit.
